Fishers, IN

The owners of this portrait photography and graphic design business set forth the challenge to the architects to design a new facility within a business technology park just north of Indianapolis.

The final design makes two simple moves. The studio is contained within a precast concrete box, reflective of other industrial buildings in the park. The second move was to construct a brick veneer wood frame single story structure to the south of the larger studio. A continuous circulation spine runs the length of the building between these two masses, doubling as the display and art galleries.
